My TD5 90
Hi

Im fairly new on here but been lurking about for a while reading alot of threads and i thought i would share what im doing with my TD5

i bought it in the middle of october as a sorry looking truck cab pick up with an ifor back one it, it had spent a few year on a dairy farm and got a few battle scars but its only got 53k on it and was a good price so i thought i would try and bring her back to life.......

nothing a few panels and a clean wont sort ha Laughing

so far i have swapped a few things about but this is my first defender and im trying to get the right things that should be on a 2003 model so theres a few bits that arnt stopping like the temp rear door and headlight surrounds but its hard to get good late panels at the right money but ill do my best as im on a budget.....

sorry for all the pics but hey everyone loves pics Laughing

so thats about how it stands at the minute
wanting a few bits still, rear door, alpine windows etc
waiting to go in the bodyshop hopefully this week for the rest of the dints out and a re spray so it starts to look something like, then i can start on the inside....
be nice its my first time Very Happy

i can't leave my 2 1/2 year old son anywhere near my tools, the torque wrench gets used as a lump hammer Shocked Crying or Very sad

what colour you going for - Cairns Blue is the obvious choice Whistle

ha yeah he does that too, that screwdriver ended up stabbed into every hole he saw including the veins on the radiator when i wasn't looking Confused

thanks for the comments Thumbs Up as for the colour im staying with green so the logbook says the right colour but im still undecided wether to go for tonga or epson...... or back to belize, i cant decide, favoring tonga at the min though
