I picked up the seat modification panels the other day and I've got to say they're a nice piece of engineering, bent from one piece of aluminium, doubled up where the seat mounts and perfect welding, they make the seats a doddle to fit, any way got chance to fit them this afternoon, took me about 6 hour to do but that was taking out and putting back the seats and re carpeting, still got e few bits to trim up but im happy

Yeah I've decided on keeping the white roof too, your defender was one of the inspirations for going the way I have with mine |

This thread should serve as an inspiration to all Defender (and 90/110/130) owners as to what can be achieved with a bit of hard work and inginuity to create the vehicle you want from the humblest of base vehicles.
You have created a fantastic Defender, well done 2005 Td5 90 XS Steve |

Not done a lot the defender recently apart from getting the rear seat belts sorted and finding a rear door card, not got any pics yet though
Then today a big thanks to ChrisD90 as I picked up my new wolf wheels and goodyear tyres from him to replace the boosts and BFG AT's which I decided didn't suit the green/white roof, over the moon with them and got them fitted this aft Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Thanks mate, good to meet you and was a pleasure doing business.
You didn't waste any time getting them fitted They look fantastic with the white roof, a perfect match for your Defender. I think those wheels have now found their rightful home 2013 Defender 90 HT Range Rover Evoque |

Just read this thread from beginning to end for the first time - what a fantastic job
Notice you've got rid of the a-bar - is it planned to keep it off?? |

Thanks, I too think the white wolfs suit the white roof better, it's taken a while to get it this far CEEGEE but I enjoy tinkering and it's surprising what you can do with these defenders, you can make them into whatever you like to suit your needs, the abar was taken off as I decided to stick with the classic look and I prefer it without now
I finished off fitting the rear seat belts today so that's another job off the list and now all 4 seats can be used safely |
