Just checking you're sure it's rain - I thought my hardtop leaked but it's sheer volume of condensation because I have no roof lining. Am sure you've ruled this out but it caused me to scratch my head for a while

This had crossed my mind but I think condensation would not produce the amount of water that comes through. I need to pour some water down towards the back to see if it comes through to double check |

I was unpleasantly surprised at how much collects over a short space of time - certaintly enough to soak a shoe or trouser leg if you brake too suddenly! I spent a long time trying to force water in from otuside, slapped a load of captain tolleys creeping crack cure in every place I could find, only for the CTCCC to accumulate in the gutter because there was nowhere for it to fill!
In the end I rigged up parcel tape (!) to try to stop water running down in the gutter and instead onto the loadspace floor to prove it was condensation - hey presto dry gutters! |
