Hi all.......can an 'overdrive' unit be fitted to my 5 speed TD5, if so, any idea of price ?

Roamer drive is just over £1000 then there's fitting. Most upgrade there transfer boxes to discovery gearing. Gives a 15% gain in final drive. 2 options buy a disco t/box and fit with a couple of small mods, or take your box and add the gearing. Ashcroft transmissions in Luton will fit it for you with 12 months warranty for £750 IIRC. It is something I seriously looked at, but then I do tow a bit and pootle around so stayed with the original gearing. Thumbs Up
