The 2,2 and 3.2 was built about 15 years ago ish, Ford sacked it as they thought the 3.2 was to large an engine that no one would buy due to fuel etc and built the 2.4. they now want them both back lol hence the 2014 transit 3.2 in America and the 3.2 in the Ranger over here.

I've never heard that before. The engine would need to have pre-dated the development of the S-Type which used the LEW platform. I can't see any use of the 3.2 engine where on that platform

Having owned a 2.2TDCi 110 for some 10 months now and covered some 4000 miles I think I can say its a poor drive in standard form for all the reasons mentioned in this thread, but I drove Pete's tuned 110 on Friday and I can honestly say I am thinking of keeping the 110 and having it tuned as the difference is like day and night Bow down

Pulls stronger in every gear, rev's smoother and longer, less engine rattle, considerably more useable power and an all round better drive - what a fantastic job Pete Thumbs Up

Now then, do I sell the TD5 I have just bought or the 2.2 Question

Good luck to the other tuners but IMHO anyone thinking of a tune should go to the best (BAS) and foreget the rest Thumbs Up Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free
