Td5 original horn set up
When I acquired my second hand 2005 Td5, the horn set up was best described as 'wired for two, fitted with one'.

Was the typical set up on Td5s when they left the factory? Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Mine has one horn on the nearside. Not found the wiring for the second, but haven't looked very hard.

Cool. I might look for the plug on mine then.

I replaced mine with a nautilus. Which only works with the alarm. So I think, horn one side, alarm horn the other?

My 2005 xs has them on both sides and both sound when horn is pressed, maybe it's an option

Think it was an option to have a "high tone" and a "low tone" together, should be plug & play

Thanks chaps. I fitted a second horn a while back and indeed it was simply plug and play. Both now sound when the horn is pressed and indeed when triggered by the factory alarm. In fact the second horn works perfectly independently in both scenarios too.

So it sounds like unless the high/low option was specified the Td5's would have left the factory with just a single horn. Sure you can see where I'm going with this. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Mine's a Nov 2006 build, It had one horn in N/S wing and wiring in other side but no Horn.

I fitted a Stebel Nautilus Truck Air Horn Twisted Evil on this side.

If I give the horn a quick jab you get the one horn, but if you press the Horn for more than a nano second you get the truck horn as well.

This is reserved for Censored who pull out in front of me or cut me up Twisted Evil

My 110 is using 50th loom which has two connections. I have fitted one horn and bracketry from Td5, but am struggling to find the bracket for the other side. Its an angle bracket which is hannded. Dealer has struggled to find part number for me. I have given up for now.....but if anyone knows more ?

Best guess chap is that you want the following.....

RH - ASU710060
LH - ASU710070

I got the part number info on the interweb somewhere, so I ordered both from Duckworths a couple of months ago (2.20+VAT each at the time), given that for a couple of quid each, it was easier to order both than end up with the wrong one from a bum steer

Piccy of both if that helps confirm they look like what you need ??

I just need to get around to making a proper job of fixing the new horn as currently, I'm using a horn+bracket from a scrapped Rover 75. Works perfectly but the rover bracket orientation is wrong and that just annoys me Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Mine is farmer spec and it came with two. So it's the luck of the draw, I guess. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island.
