To fit a Single Din unit you may have to cut the head lining behind the console

Hi all, fitted one in my TD5 110 3 weeks ago, well made, fitting was very easy, would say be careful when drilling the holes above the door frame, I used g clamps to hold the side sections in position as the holes are pre drilled in the consul so this starts to dictate where you will be drilling, also watch out if you have any wires, the rear screen washer pipe is running above the passenger door.
fFtted it looks like a factory fit, all I now need to do is decide what to place in the centre, does not obstruct vision but if you are vertically challenged then it might, but Kevin is 6'5" and he has one in his own motor. |

Would it be possible to disassemble the mirror an take the screens out so they can be mounted somewhere else?
Would be usefull as then it's a seperate system from the radio unit in a better location. Also would it be possible to mount 4 cams on it, 2 that default (1 front view to replace front PAs and when driving + 1 back view when driving) and 2 at the rear when shifting backward (to replace back PAs, 1 at high pount, 1 at low point). Also would the front one then also be useble to put a recording device on it? I'm not the electrically adept, but I'n find someone who is. Bet before I spend time searching, I'd like to know if it at all posible. |

Bought a MUD one and fitted it in an afternoon. Great instructions. My advice is if you are thinking of getting one –DO IT!

Wouldn't bother with the Terrafirma one. Their quality has gone down hill and apart from being a b..ch to fit they look cheap and tacky. Biggest mistake I've made so far(apart from dealing with Craddocks, but then that's another story!!) and a waste of money. £114.00 for two pieces of ill fitting formed plastic is a joke. If I had seen them in real life I wouldn't have bought the centre console either. Going to take mine off, flog them on ebay and buy a decent set-up. |

x-isle, you certainly aren't. God knows how many there are that have been treated badly. I have never felt so belittled by any company before and that is having spent over £2k with them. How they stay in business with the numpties behind the till is beyond me. I'm sure they don't have much repeat business unless of course some of their clients like being insulted!!! |

I won't be going back to Craddocks any time soon either, I had one order outstanding for 11 months, I eventually bought the item direct from the Manufacturer but kept the order open to see how long it would take to fill the order, after 11 months and 100's of emails I told them where to place the order. Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty.. Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be! |

Mine arrived yesterday and installed this afternoon, took about an hour to fit, absolute doddle, good instructions and looks factory fitted. Wife really likes it too which is amazing, as she thinks I'm mad whenever I buy or do any type of mod. She just doesn't understand Land Rovers, she just drives them, she says they are just cars how mad is that!!! Optimists say the glass is half full..
