Fitted my cb and aerial, so now I have a HF, 2m and cb aerial, beginning to look like a porcupine Shocked

I also fitted a 2" black sunstrip on the screen. Its made it feel all cosy inside Mr. Green

Deemed it too cold to wash it, as you can't do one without the other and with another car in the drive, I'd of been out there for hours !

I also added some castors to an old army radio box...now Mrs Greeni has a military spec shabby chic hair and makeup box. Laughing

gavin - you've got my old 90 Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

how do you like the performance and the stereo? Cool

Great to hear from you farmer.

I'm loving it - so you did all the mods did you ?

Gavin

hi gavin, i was the first owner and had the vehicle delivered directly to j e engineering in coventry. they did the koni suspension, remap, intercooler and silicon hoses plus the lights in the grille and the rev counter in the dash (clock moved next to rear view mirror); bourton land rovers cut the side windows into the hardtop, plus cut the rear bulkhead down, fitted the checker plate, rear nas lights and step, too.
have you kept all the ICE - its not ground breaking loud but has good bass and treble.
the sports exhaust was by twisted and just makes you want to drop a gear and go Whistle

i miss my old truck Sad

Sorry farmer I missed your reply - just seen it today.

Truck is as you left it by the sounds of it. As regards the ICE the only thing I have done is move the amplifier to the drivers side of the rear bulkhead, this due to the fact that the hounds 'live' in the back and was sure to get damaged where it was located.

Also trying to think of something to protect the rear speakers from mud and the wet when the dogs are in the back but not sure of a solution.

Thanks for the info above - very interesting.

Gavin

Went hunting for some green-lanes around Herts to get some of the clean off my car Mr. Green

I'm well impressed by Herts county council, I must say:

It was not too challenging, didn't use low range or diff-lock, but it was fun trying to squeeze between the trees, and it was a little bit slippy due to the mud. Came across an angry horsey rider who asked me what I was doing... She clearly didn't like me being there, but I pulled over and turned off my engine to let her past, and the council map as well as signs at either end of the byway said "byway open to all traffic", so nuts to her Thumbs Up

Then went for a nice long drive with no map, and came across a big field full of these furry little Censored :

It was "something abbey", I'd quite like to go back one weekend, it looks like they've got some good stuff there.

Anyway, 'twas a good day

Poor Chris - he doesn't like it when Defenders leave Tarmac. He has to crawl over speed cushions so his steering guard doesn't catch on them! Laughing Thumbs Up 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green
