Use carb cleaner - it's safe and gets all the sh*t off in seconds Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Had this happening to a customers 110, found it was low in coolant, getting a little warm and cutting the power on hills, I found the egr coler had split internally, anyone else come across this?

how the heck did you trace it to that - well done.

I'm all for checking as much as I can. as sugestions on what to look for?
presumably disconnecting the egr would confirm if this might be a problem?

Pressure tested the vehicle and no external leaks, started thinking mabey head gasket, but thought it may be worth a go removing egr cooler, so took the egr cooler out to find water inside(where the exhaust gasses pass through).bench tested it by blocking up the water pipe(return) and put pressure thought the water inlet to find there was a pin prick hole in the cooler allowing the water to escape and be burnt! It did surprise me as head never head of this before.
