I fitted LED lamps to both the internal lights, very bright.

I wouldn't bother using Mud-UK for an LED interior light.
As has been said eBay has loads of choices available and most are just a fraction of the £18.00 MudStuff are charging. Unfortunately I can't remember who I used but I got two with 20 LED's each from a UK seller for much less than half the Mudstuff price for one. Fitting couldn't be simpler and the difference they make is far superior to a standard bulb. |

careful with higher wattage filament bulbs, they could get hot enough to melt the light unit
LEDs must be the best way to go, low heat, low energy |

In my other 90 I fitted Fluorescent triple tube caravan lamps front and rear, which is much brighter than LED and has better light spread.
But in this instance just wanted to fit a better bulb. I have never found LED's terribly reliable.(Before CREE bulbs) So if they are 10w, will change it to that. Thanks Peter |

I tend to agree but their not all bad. I find the cheaper the LED's are the less likely they'll be any good. The standard bulbs are IIRC 36mm 10w festoon as I replaced mine just the other day with 38mm LED's although they do fit it is slightly larger. I'd also steer clear of E-bay for any bulbs and use somewhere like Auto Bulbs Direct. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

I remembered it was 10W on a Td5 and the 10AS will switch a total of 20W to ground. So i have 10W in the front, 5W in the middle and 5W at the tail door and a 1W LED strip on the tail door itself. 6yrs on, they all are still working. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island. |

Cannot believe you would have missed this recent thread on that very subject
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17982.html You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
