Fitted genuine chequer plate sills, realigned offside doors. Put the QT diff guards on front and rear, really good quality stuff and seem tougher than old boots. Thumbs Up

Stripped the OEM adjustable towbar off. Tried to cut it down and burnt out my angle grinder. Decided to leave it off (and resolved to have a new one made to my specs next year).

Fitted the NATO hitch properly. Towed the Sankey full of rubbish to the tip and met a splendid chap in an 1990 ex-MOD sand coloured defender.

Moved the electrics at the rear to the cross-member. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Went and bought a Christmas tree after fitting my newly acquired Thule roof bars.

Then decided that I didn't need to put it on the roof as it would fit inside if I folded the passenger seat forward.

Bad mistake.... I now have a Land Rover full of needles Rolling Eyes MAD COW

Laughing Did the same in the middle of last week, decided the Thule roof bars looked too complicated to put together quickly so ended up throwing the tree in the back.

The wife promised to sweep out the needles but I ended up doing it myself yesterday Sheep
