That plus the fact that in Portugal the SW is taxed close to 30.000 € (yes, you read right) more than the Crew Cab. It is simply double the price. The Crew Cab is considered a commercial vehicle. Click image to enlarge First price is before tax, then the Portuguese additional tax, then the VAT (that applies to the additional tax as well, which is totally against EU laws by the way that forbids applying tax on tax. That should be repelled next year but the additional tax remains). Boldly going nowhere Discovery 3 after a Defender 110 Crew Cab TD4 and a 1964 SIIA 88 Regular. |

Played in the snow for the third day running
Keep forgetting the camera but snapped this on Thursday night on the Blackberry just as it was getting going, we had about 6-7" in total and lots of drifts, then another 2" last night. Click image to enlarge MAD COW 2007 90 Hard Top - 2009 BMW F800GS - 2002 CCM 604E Dual Sport Project90 |

Did some minor tests on my Defender today.......
ABS Works ok (but i need to get me a set of wintertires....) Traction Control works ok Heated front and rear windows works perfect Heated front seats, wouldn't want to be without them.... 7 days of snowing, about 50cm of snow in 5 days, -10 degrees Celsius I do have some problems to get the heat in the rear when we do short tours (less than 30 minutes) Land Rover Defender 110 SX Station Wagon 2007 |
