Cor Blimey!

You need to find yourself a decent independant! Mine quoted approximately 2.8 manhours at a cost of 'about' £350 + vat for the same service. Would take you about an hour and a quarter to get to him in future from where you are (60 miles each way), courtesy car on offer as well! I use him on a regular basis and travel myself an hour to use him. The only thing with independants is they cannot do warranty work as a rule. Nevertheless if it's a small fix they'll do it for you. Whatever way you look at it it would still save you a ton. If there's not a decent independant closer to you here is the linky thingy:

Shocked For my 2nd service I paid £185 considering that I didn't even cover the kilometres but I was following the ''every 6 months schedule''. My car to date has done 17,100kms. I'm guessing labour played a big role in your service. The local land rover dealer charges 300 AED per hour (local currency) thats about £50 an hour. '08 LR Defender 110

Is that schedule because of your location. i.e temperatures and dust? Puma 110 - gone
Series III 1973 - going strong

Good value Fekete,

Being a Southern Central Heating For Tramps (cider) drinker what begs the question from such a northern independant - Do they allow you to take their whippet out for a walk and ask you to wear a flat cap whilst your Land Rover is being serviced?

Off topic I know but couldn't resist a little banter!

Is there any truth in the rumour that there is an imaginery line that runs from Watford to Gloucester and any pidgeons that cross this line heading north start flying backwards to keep the Censored out their eyes????

Nearly said 'birds' instead of pidgeons but didn't want to upset any females!
