Over about the last 1500 miles or so, mine has averaged about 22mpg with a worst of 12 (spent a whole day driving at an extreme off road facility) and a best of 27 (mostly dual carriage way). Considering the abuse it gets, I'm not that surprised!

P.s. I use an iPhone app to track all my cars called 'Gas Cubby', the free version was so good I stumped up and bought the paid for version without adverts!

Andy.

I regularly clock 24mpg. Only mod is a snorkel. I do cart about a fair amount of weight in tools/recovery gear. (c. 80kgs?) Normally just me in it. Best I've clocked is 28mpg on a run to Devon and back, motorway speeds, and I'm although I'm generally inclined to spare the horses, I like to get to my destination in reasonable time. Just fitted a GKN overdrive, so will see how that works out. My work commute is <5miles on B-Roads, so naturally doesn't lend itself to good fuel economy (especially when I'm late!)

27.4 mpg here - 2011, 2.4, 110.

since the 21st Jan I have been using the android fuellog app

I have done 8075 miles to date with an average of 24.67mpg in a TD5 110 with full RR & Snorkel but no performance mods.

I have noticed that since October when I started using the screen and especially heated seats that the mpg has dropped by almost 0.4.

quite significant in the Land Rover scale of fuel consumoption.

Worse still I noticed that the wife could get 26.5 mpg when she stole the motor for a week Big Cry that said she doesn't climb the chilterns every day He who dies with the most toys wins Smile

Average of 22.79mpg over 16,282 miles in 17 months. £8.97 per day.

Don't think to roof rack, KC daylighters, MT tyres or a wild map from Alive really help the MPG. 2005 110 TD5 XS running Alive Stage 1 and a bit and other toys

My average is 26.20mpg with a best of 31.27mpg which works out to £0.241 per mile Thumbs Up

No I haven't worked that out I have an app that has done it for me Mr. Green

That's been based on the records that I've kept for the last 19,608 miles. Russell

I've had my td5 90 for nearly 5 years and only get 250-265 miles on a full tank.
I have taken roof rack off and still get same mpg.
My 90 has 2" lift kit
Rock sliders
Mud terrain tyres
Snorkel
Egr removed
I use daily for work doing 50 mile round trip on dual carriageway and bit round doors on evening after work.
I drive between 55-60mph on dual carriageway unless over taking odd vehicle.
I'm wondering how people are quoting 300-350 miles on a single tank?
Seems a bit high to me Shocked
