Excellent idea mate and just what I've been after as I practically have to stand right next to my 90 for it to work. Although I suspect the battery in remote unit could also be in need of replacement sooner rather than later.
Added myself to the list |

BEST MOD EVER!! Took me about half an hour, cost me nothing. Mine stopped working at about 20m away, easily worth it. Thanks Andrew, you ought to get a medal. 110 Tdci Double Cab

I don't know how people come up with such innovative ideas! Common sense I suppose. (Something i'm regularly accused of not having). Carried out the installation myself this morning 25 minutes - must be said for me this is the best, most simple and one of the most beneficial I have done! Thanks! Got any more???? May have to purchase extra battery as I can't leave it alone! The central locking that is!

The only trouble that i could see with this (and it doesn't really happen with "other" makes of car, so i might be talking rubbish here), is you stuff the bunch of keys into your pocket and walk off, and (up to 20m away) you could disarm your alarm if the buttons get pressed in your pocket.
It heppened to me yesterday in fact, but i armed it insetad of disarm. |
