Just done this mod and it only took about 15 minutes to do.

The range is unbelievable. I did the mod without telling the wife - she came and asked if I had changed the batteries in the remote

Hi Derek You sure you connected to the correct wire. I ran mine up the door pillar under the cover and pushed it into the ceiling space. I also skinned the end as it is on the original wire end, Also soldered the joint and fitted heat shrink. Rgds James |

Ha ha! I do that too!gives me an extra 20 meters. It works better when it's cold and dry outside though! I doubt it's improving my brain though. |

this issue with the remote, is that on all Puma's or only on certain year models? Reason I'm asking is that I'm about to get a 2009 or 2010 90 soon |
