When I built my trailer I used LED lights and had the same issue I ended up fitting ballast resistors to the indicators to make them function correctly and my towing tell tale work correctly. I chose to do it this way rather than changing the flasher unit as I tow other trailers and it would have messed the flashing rate on these up.

You need to change the flasher relay in the Disco for one which supports LED lights. There's loads on ebay or alternatively PM Tim at The Mobilecentre who's a site sponsor on here as he carries them.

It is definatly a cure but they do flash a bit slow for my liking If everything is under control you are not going fast enough. Every Day 16 MY Discovery 4 Commercial Workshop and Escort Vehicle Weekends 07MY L322 TDV8 Vogue SE Series 1 80" 3ltr 6cyl with overdrive No Worries 4X4 |

No flasher relay in a D3 as such (body controller), you will need ballasts or hidden bulbs I'm afraid 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
