This photo of farmer gilws dash shows the two screws that need to be removed first (next to heat/cold knob and direction of airflow knob)
Then you just have to (carefully) lever out the seven tabs bearing in mind that all buttons will be connected up Don't even have to remve the stereo first, in fact easier to remove it after the dash ![]() Click image to enlarge |

bit of a tip when putting it back in, make sure the prongs/clip on the center piece are prised apart other wise its a pain to push back in CSK Automotive

I do like that colour of centre dash, not sure it'd go with my Stornaway grey exterior though..... Darren |

Do the heater/head light knobs need to be removed as well if so are they just a hard pull ? It's good to be back from the dark side

[/quote] That particular dash centre wouldn't suit anyone's Defender, simply because it's MINE that you took a photo of, and I'm keeping it ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated ![]() Previously..... Quite a few! I really am a sucker for them! |

Interesting post this as the light bulb behind the heater temp gauge on my 110 has gone. I need to replace it.
