Fitted a pair of helper springs(as found on 130's) to my 110 as it was beginning to look a tadge tired on the back end and there is generally a load of junk in the back. It's lifted the back end by 50mm and now looks standard with the slightly higher back end, must remember at the next car park barrier Cured a couple of problems with my marshalling lights and got halfway through fitting a OEM switch for the roof spots that I bought months ago before they went up in price by at least 5x Tomorrow I should get a replacement large mirror after the last one had an argument in a narrow tunnel and will wire up and fit heater pads in both mirrors. Should render me pretty winter proof this year

Guess you simply lit the bonfire with your LED bar from 30 meters distance, yes? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Visited the dealer and made appointment for replacing my rear window for the new model window with the rerouted top three heating elements which hopefully won't get killed any more by the 3rd brake light. My 3rd rear window replacement, luckily still under warranty You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Cleaned the MAF sensor. The mid range acceleration seems much livelier now, even though larger tyres have raised the gearing.

Popped out for a while and my plans changed so ended up doing about 100 miles around Kent and Sussex. What grim weather though, the Puma felt very safe and secure going through many small flooded roads where ordinary cars were not coping very well. BM52

How did you clean it? with some carb/brake cleaner? might try that on mine, and the MAP sensor too. |

Well I found some time and finally fitted the Puma load area with Noise Killer, then took it for a spin, definitely better. Can't hear the spay in the arches anymore. _______________________________
