When you get it back from the recall work, get under it and get some waxoyl on the new brackets. I had my recall done recently and I couldn't believe how shiny and unprotected the replacement plates were.

Managed to get 90% of the silicone off of my paintwork with a credit card. Re-fitted my chequer plate rear qauter panel. I do really wonder though if it would be better fixed by rivets though rather than silicone. Confused That was how it was on originally both of them with silicone. NEVER SURRENDER! ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Drove nigh-on 1,000 miles to Sussex and back for the weekend.

Car didn't miss a beat, and averaged 32mpg on the way down and 34mpg on the way back up. Good stuff Smile

Fitted the Mud rails, Silblades and union jack

Removed seat and rails

Installed mud rails

Noted with the 3 x spacers the bolts supplied by mud rail are too short.

Silblades

Union Jack Thumbs Up

Hey Willy,

Can you tell me what over mat system you have in your truck? Is it the Exmoor rubber flooring system? Also do you find it helps cabin sound?

Thanks Nath
