No it hasn't it's brand new and I painted it quickly. Mind you it'll probably come off a lot of it when used (the paint). It's been on a year nearly already and still haven't got round to getting a trailer. I will soon. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

Did a tip run.
Serviced the 110. Change of engine oil, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter and oil rotor filter. 5449 ish miles since the last service Not sure if its just me or not but after doing the air and fuel filter the car felt smoother and quicker. The air filter was a bit dirty but nothing major. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Washed the 110, all shiney and clean now ready for the airport run this week.
Changed the slave cylinder on the 90, but the clutch is still dragging, so got to pull the engine out next week (Still, will make changing the cylinder head and core plug easier) |

Back from a weekend in Whitby, of course Big Black was faultless. Was looking forward to storming up Sutton Bank, but typically got stuck behind a Honda Jazz! So all the way up in second gear, about 2500rpm with a Audi right up my arse all the way. As we got to the top though and started accelerating again Big Black spewed out the biggest cloud of black smoke I've ever seen it chooch out. Audi backed off then
Spent the last couple of hours giving it a wash and polish this afternoon, done a poor job though as it was going dark and couldn't see where I'd buffed! Plus I didn't chamois it off properly either... Bit of a half arsed effort really. |

Fitted a nice Richbrook tax disc holder to replace the crappy plastic Land Rover one. Looks a lot better now.

@bm52 yes - well spotted! They're Bosch aero blades (think that's what they call them?) just because I prefer the flat blade look, bit more up to date. Seem to work pretty well too, must have had them on over a year now without any issue. Still no squeaks. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green
