I haven't noticed it on my 2001 TR, but is it even when there is someone in the drivers seat? (only reason I can think of...!)
Im heading to RY land rover tomorrow so will have a look at a showroom Defender and ask |

I have an 09 LHD 90 and even that sits low on the lefthand side, so it cant be for the driver to even it out. I have just given up and accept it now...

Thanks very much TR51, it'll be interesting to see what they say and to see if there are any others on the forecourt.
Cheers |

The springs on the passenger side is slightly shorter than the one on the driver's side.
Once the driver is in, it should be level. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

" Apparently it follows Land Rovers tradition of sided springs (drivers side vs passenger side). They differ in free height by 10 mm. "
Straight from the horses mouth so to speak... The one in the showroom was leaning a little, although I forgot my tape measure Pope - perhaps LR followed another of their traditions by making them all different and just put them on the wrong side by mistake?!) EDIT:Spelling |

Thanks for the info, this is exactly why this forum is so good
It helps those of us that are less 'streetwise' to gain the 'knowledge' without the compulsory 50 question exam of course; I wonder what the questions would be if there were such a thing though? |

The all list to the passenger side.
If you have changed springs before, when measured, the driver side is higher. Well some people don't like this and put 2x driver side springs on the front and back and it should sit level. perhaps, that slight list stops water collecting in the gutters? or maybe, they assume that there always has to be a driver in the vehicle to even it out. hmmm..... You need a fat girlfriend... ... don't tell my wife I said that p.s. Incidentally, my LHD 110 Puma is the same height both sides (just measured). Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Hi fellas,
I bought a 2001 Td5 110 last December and I noticed I got this issue, basically left side (front and rear) is 30mm lower than right side. Any ideas on how to fix it? (excluding getting a fat girl, hard for me at this age, LOL!) Thanks. |
