Side Window Demisters
A perennial problem on pre-2007 Defenders is the lack of any facility for demisting the drivers and front passenger windows (apart from a cloth Laughing ). A kit has been available from MUD-UK for quite a while but it's very expensive. Anyway, I came across these things at the Newbury Sort-out and finally bought a pair this week:

They are designed to fit over the existing vents and take minutes to install with the supplied longer screws. They are a bit clunky looking but don't look too out of place in the functional interior of a Defender.

The view from the drivers seat isn't compromised:

In use so far, they seem to do exactly what they say on the tin, which is nice. As I have a heated screen then I might experiment with blocking the top vents completely, but that's not because it's necessary.

Bought them from here: www.defenderdemister.com. I've no connection other than as a satisified customer. Darren

I saw these at Eastnor but sill undecided. Confused

Rain-x anti-fog on the inside of the windows seems to do the job. 993 Varioram - Guards Red

I looked into those, but ended up making my own as I was after a slightly tidier solution:

I have since replaced the end outlets with more open grilles as the airflow wasn't very good to start with. Much better now Smile
