SS - I fitted them above the steel washer, in the pivot of the brackets.

Also make sure that the piston mount is tight.

The plastic washer can make the rear door stiff to open, but it does stay open.

I'll be at Eastnor if you're going and want a looksie.

Keith

Thanks Keith,

Won't be up at Eastnor as other plans unfortunately.

So, you've fitted them between the steel washer and the nylon inserts of the arms, tops and bottom mounts? Cheers,
Superspoons

Hi SS,

Yes that's correct. I used some flat plastic sheet, I think it was the side of a 25l used oil container IIRC and a hole saw, not knocked since.

Good luck!

Seems to be a different part number for genuine or non-genuine and then part numbers are different again for 90 or 110...

Supacat,

Sorry just noticed yours is a 110. Obviously the genuine will be more expensive (by £100) but if it has the same mounting arrangements one would assume it would be compatable with the Mantec wheel carrier. Knowing Dgardel as we do nothing less than genuine would have sufficed. Maybe give him a 'pm' and phone the company perhaps to ensure you get what you require?
