Good advice! Unfortunately it was me that opened the stable door and let that horse bolt ages ago! It goes without saying and without wishing to blow too much sunshine up Tim's crimper the goods and service he supplies is excellent. I could always cash in and stick my spare lens up for sale at about £200 by my reckoning. Needless to say knowing my luck the day after it's sold I'd experience another breakage so I daren't. Your son was issued with a PC cup with lid and straw which is much more impact tolerant |

A bit off topic but not entirely.... Next week my just arrived Speaker 8700s will be installed, replacing my standard H4 main headlamps on my SVX. Those are wired now directly via the switch I know, which understand is far from ideal for the risk of the switch overheating, power loss/sub-optimal light output, etc....... This has been covered many times here.
My question is if it would be a good idea to ask my dealer when he will change the H4s for the LEDs to also rewire them via a relay? I don't think with the 2.5 instead of 4.5 Amps consumption per headlamp there will be much risk for the switch to overheat in the future, but would getting the power directly from the battery as opposed to via the switch mean that the new LEDs will also give more light as would be the case with halogens? Or with LEDs which seem to function on anything between 12 and 24V maybe it makes no difference? Let me know pls. Eric You never actually own a Defender. There will be no difference to light output using relays with the LEDs, the lower current draw will reduce load on the switch so I would leave as standard |

Hi SGH where did you get your KBX grill from? Did you have it sprayed in grey? Mines Stornaway and I wondered what it would look like with grey grills - have to say it looks the dogs dangles |

Paddocks are the most reasonable I believe..... but they don't do colour coding unless you have Java, Brunel or Zambezi..... http://www.google.co.uk/#q=kbx+defender+fr...mp;bih=575 If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
