Yes, there are no T pieces required. straight out the side pipe, inline filter, pump and away to the webasto. There around £25 aswell! not sure what i'm doing yet, still looking at mounting places / options etc |

I'm going to look at making a 'bean can' and some stainless steel shield. But will probably use ss tubing to route alot of the fuel line anyway. |

i think tank is best BUT i am interested to know when LR stopped putting the bit in that needs to be cut off to allow the pickup fitting into the tank! yours may not be a straight fwd fit marcus. Cheers

to be honest, it's worse thinking about dropping the tank than actually doing it. Two of us did it in a morning.

I had a look at the Entreq website, the English version is messed up, but google translate of the German version shows a modified version of the fuel connection pipe for the 2.2.

like cobs, I bought the genuine webasto low profile pipe for the fuel pickup, well engineered, stainless and probably still cheaper that a piece of German plastic pipe and a couple of jubilee clips

Yes, it does look better, but I'm not sure it fits the 2.2. The 2.2 seems to have an existing spigot on the fuel tank assmbly (to the right of the electrical connector - number 5).
I can't find a picture of the unmodified 2.4 fuel tank filler bit to see how that looks, do you have to drill a hole to fit the pickup? |

On a side note, while researching this I found a cheaper alternative to the Land Rover fuel tank wrench (£85).
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Laser-4768-Fuel-Se...B0034HNS96 Don't know how good it will be, but for a one off, it will probably do at £15. |
