Yes, not diificult. You'll need a dial gauge to set the backlash, and it helps to have (or make) a special tool for the diff carrier bearing nut adjustment (it is a simple tool to make) but apart from that nothing complex. Be aware that the diff is heavy though, and unless you know what you are in for dropping it out from the axle can be a bit literal. I always make sure that I am directly under the diff so that its fall is broken by something soft! |
