spent the weekend in New Quay in Wales an the way back I saw lots of farmers in PUMAs at the stock market in Welshpool, Id say 50/50 Defenders / other makes so the farmers are still buying them (now just over 6k on the clock) DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

Nice trundle around on Sunday, turned into a nice day for a BBQ - not forgetting the Spanish and Cumberland Sausages Steve Nice to see Stonehenge from without having to buy an ice cream or a druids hat, was pretty dry but I managed to get covered in mud due to some un planned wheel spin Would probably have washed off ok, if the only bit of deep water hadn't been 'taken' by the Suzuki. All in all a good day out with some different lanes and good company, even managed to get the new cb working ok so all good. Decided on fitting Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's to the boosts to replace the GG TR's. Got them from devon 4x4 ( cheers for the lead fekete, as Silverline didn't have any 265/75x16 in stock ) and have to say their customer support, Sarah is a joy to deal with in getting back to my wife with the tyres delivery status.
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge These MTZ tyres go nicely with the 305 ATZ's I have already. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I have to say that the after looking at the pics of the 305's and the 265's, that the 265's fill the arches nicely Brian. Nice looking wheel/tyre combo Brian
Got my heated windscreen wired up over the weekend using a wiring harness purchased from Mobile Centre. Wired it upto a locking Carling switch on the Mud Console (the switch on far right) so it doesnt get pressed accidentally. About time as well, seeing as the heated windscreen was installed over a year ago Roll on winter Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Really good exploring some lanes we hadn't done before and certainly hadn't been driven for a while!

I'm only in Didcot so have done a few lanes round Oxfordshire and would deffo be up for tagging along on the next trip. some decent (and some very overgrown) lanes around this way!! Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful! |

One of them the foliage met in the middle for a good 100m, but we forged ahead with T-Cut in our minds!
We focused mainly around Stanmore and Lamborne; some beautiful villages around there. Drove a few lanes that close on 1st Oct. James |

Yeah I need to get amongst mine with some T-cut. I've done most round Lambourne way as my first full days laning was round there. Beautiful area!! Ah yes, there are a couple that are closed from Oct - April I think it is each year. Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful! |
