If you were down there you should have popped in for coffee as we are just up the road.

He has some good kit in there, quite like the massive tents he does with built in wood burner (ideal for Billing I'd say!)

cheers DJ, he also has a good selection of wigwams, compasses and loads of other stuff ..

Tonight had a go at re-sealing my leaking Alpine window seal. I purchased some Sikaflex 291i.
Cleaned up around the seal and degreased and while cleaning up the area and re-adjusting the seal had split behind the filler strip.
So fingers crossed its sealed. just need a good down pour to test the seal now (hopefully the Sikaflex will set before then) 1999 Defender TD5 110

.... Pulled the trunk of a Eucalyptus tree (8ft tall and 10inches wide) from the ground of the front garden via a strap. Great fun. Cheers,

Spent 5 hours on Defender4's black 90 under the bonnet, interior, sealing the capping's and wire brushing/acid treating the minor rust underneath. Just need to cavity wax the chassis and Dinitrol the rest outside, another 4-5 hours so will start early to beat tomorrows heat!

Word of warning - Dinitrol usually give you a boiler suit, hat, mask etc in the kit but this wasn't present so it will be a trip to Halfrauds first thing to get covered up Wink

This is an 07 model in VERY good condition as it is garaged BUT it still has corrosion which is a PITA - If anyone buys a new one GET IT DONE ASAP, straight from the dealership if you can, it makes a huge difference in condition and preventing all the corrosion problems so many seem to be returning to dealerships for - spend £150 and get a couple of cans of AFC-50 and a kit from Dinitrol, It's the cheapest and best way to spend money on your Defender Thumbs Up
