I'm in Devon at the moment, which has just had a huge storm with lots of flooding. Drove through some pretty deep 'puddles' with a smug grin on my face. I'm sure Eric will be horrified Darren

Oh dear, hope they were not deeper than 5mm or so You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Washed and waxed the 110. Car still does not look as shiney as I hoped it would be. Maybe years of dirts that triplewax wont shift and T-cut was wont remove with a polishing cloth.
Or maybe I need to change my car shampoo and wax? 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Just back from 3000 miles round France in the 110. Precious little off-roading, largely due to the fact we were planning to take the 'other car' until it broke down 2 days before we were due to leave.
Anyway, the Defender was more than up to the task, the only downside being the lack of air-con and 38°C temperatures Oh and the low gears meaning some pretty low speeds on the autoroutes. Pics once I shake the sand out the camera... |

We've been building a patio at home
Before: Click image to enlarge Mid way: Click image to enlarge What has this got to do with Defenders I here you ask ?, well, I did use the 110 and Ifor to collect some of the materials, but more relevant is how we got around covering over the lid of an old cess pit .... all right you lot, calm down, yes - I have a fiesta (actually selling it in September) but it only represents 33.3% of the fleet, the other 66.6% being Land Rover AND the fiesta is a TDCI Popped into GISurplus today, nr Bournemouth Airport, picked up some 4 season sleeping bags - feather down but been stored since '95 - smell old but never used. also canteens, knife/fork sets and some more bits for the trip. Good looking patio GoBeyond |

If you were down there you should have popped in for coffee as we are just up the road.
He has some good kit in there, quite like the massive tents he does with built in wood burner (ideal for Billing I'd say!) DJ 1989 200tdi 90 csw 2011 110 usw Orkney grey Buy British 🇬🇧 Defender Clothing Designs available at http://www.rangesports.com/acatalog/Defender-Stuff.html |
