2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
PICKING MY 110 UP ON FRIDAY
At last the time has (almost) arrived. Its been just over 3 years since I decided I wanted a Defender but I have always been a bit reluctant due to some of the reported build quality issues and I wasn't sure I could live without other creature comforts. Over the last 3 years I have had at least 7-8 test drives at different dealerships. After one test drive I would think, no thats too raw for everyday use but as the days went by I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I would have another test drive and think, yes I want one but with my credit card in hand, I would just hesitate at the last moment. Over the last 3 years I have bought several other cars instead of a Defender but even though they were almost perfect they didn't have that.........well......... Defenderness Bow down

I've printed out a previous post reference collecting new Defenders. I just hope mine wasn't a Friday afternoon build Crying or Very sad

Many thanks for all your help and advice so far chaps and heres to our Defenders Thumbs Up

Picked ours up (110 xs utility stornoway) at beginning Sept. same idea, multipurpose and used as main vehicle.
Just completed 2000mile round trip on the continent, absolutely no regrets. comfortable , pulls like stink even in standard form.
Attracted lots of attention from other landy drivers.
Hope you enjoy it as much as me. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy 1981 series 3 swb gone

Landyman1, don't suppose there are any photos on here of your Stornaway utility (can't find any), would like to see what that looks like in the flesh (or at least a photo)
