Steering stops
On my 110 (and the one before) the steering stops are wound out so it gives a rubbish lock. Even with the 285's there is still quite a bit of adjustment. A few weeks ago I was out with some other land rovers and they all had better turning than me (a lot). All 110's 300's and a td5. Now is there a reason for this on the Pumas or is it just that the bloke at the factory who's job it is to do this was off sick?

My Tdi has much tighter turning circle than the Puma and the Puma's steering stops are wound in as far as you can without rubbing. I don't know what it is but I know what you mean... its not a turning circle its a circumnavigation. 110 2.4TDCi

And the worst part is the looks you get as if you are stupid when you have to three point turn into an average parking bay at the supermarkets.

Especially now that architects design parking areas for Nissan Micra's and the like and nothing bigger Banging Head Puma 110 - gone

When I fitted the 285`s I also add the wheel spacers and I can tell you now it turns like a normal car. IŽll get anyway a set of 8" wheels with 4" backspace Puma 110" SW

You can wind the stops in just don't go to far. 2.4 90 XS

On the 110 why are stops set different to the 90?Is it to prevent tyre scrub? Presumably on the Puma 110s it's done for a reason.
