Nice, that would make one helluva vehicle, and "look" more or less factory too, not bodged in.

I wonder if it's been re engineered, or whatever the line is as used by LR, for wet and dusty conditions like the 2.4 & 2.2 has???

You got that 100% Steve. This engine is fitted to the Ford Ranger, so should be off road friendly, assuming they are using the Ranger unit, rather than a transit unit. The 2.4's are different between transit and defender, so would expect the same with this too. Has anyone actually got one of these on the road yet? I don't see it being a particularly difficult conversion, but it's just I haven't seen one on the road yet (unless I missed it)? |

I was at Bell Auto Services earlier this week and they were trying to sort the electronics out for a 3.2 TDci conversion.
They had a Defender with the 3.2 in the shop. It was brought in by Nene because they couldn't sort the electronics out themselves and now BAS should give it a try. It wasn't close to working yet though. |

Very true I didnt think I would have done it so soon, I pulled out all the stops this week to get it ready for the owner hopefully in time for Billing show. Its been a very long and time consuming process this week, but I can now see the light at the end of the tunnell. Another few days and I hope to have it finished. Pete |

0-60 in 8 seconds even with my bad video recording and jerky gear change from first to second lol. Hopefully I can shave a couple of seconds of that easly when I Add the mods I have in mind
