. If I'd spotted this conversion I may have gone for that rather than buying a new one!

The engine and box in my case was very expencive as it was all brand new so this changes the price quite a lot depending on what hardware is used.
The electrical work at my end if a car arrived at my garage with its engine fitted it going to be around 3600+vat. All figures are a guess work at the moment as its still early days for pricing parts on a larger scale. I hope to have some more engines and gearboxes soon that should be a very good price. Pete |

I went in Petes car on Sunday morning alli can say is wow it really pins you into the seat and has so much torque it's untrue
In my opinion certainly a better conversion than the tdv6 Steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs 3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit ashcroft atb in transfer box 6 speed auto in build |

So the 3.2 from the Ranger fits as nicely as the 3.2 from the transit?
I know the BAS conversion was developed for the Transit motor, but we don't have Transits over here. Plenty of new 3.2 Mazda and Rangers, and a couple of Ford Breakers. Hope to have decent engines and gearboxes from wrecked pickups in a couple of years... |

I'm on with getting a ranger engine ATM as we Bas is unsure if there are any major differences to stop it from working I.e. injectors dpf ecu and so on ?
So if you do get one don't be alarmed if you had to pay for full development again if its different I'm hoping its the same though Steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs 3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit ashcroft atb in transfer box 6 speed auto in build |
