Fits straight over. Hinges are the same but the lock assy is different. you'll need to play with the wiring a bit, as the newer one has a different plug on the wiper/heated window loom, but you can just remove the old loom and swap it over to the new door.

I have this to do as soon as possible because my wee is particularly fed up of the new door being proper up in the kitchen. ............it's only been 6 months.

Thanks, is the wheel carrier different too..? I currently use a separate wheel carrier, but may go back to a door mounted carrier. Cheers Simon |

Yes, the wheel carriers are different (the later Td5 door carrier looks like a discovery one)
If you've got a separate carrier frame, i'm sure you could fabricate something to make it fit the newer door. |

Planning on doing the same door upgrade to mine when i find one for sensible money . The advantage for me is that i can bolt a disco2 wheel carrier to it as i am now on D2 axles. Also they are supposedly less prone to cracking when a spare is fitted to them?

The one piece door is supposed to be stronger and hold up better. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |
