Snails! i've been gardening today and there are hundreds of the little devils. Started off launching them into the field to give them a fighting chance but eventually thought sod it and started putting them in the green waste bag to go to the tip.
Suppose it's the wet spring that has given them such a head start.

Motor Boat gin palace owners not keeping to the speed limit leaving a wake of destruction behind them Rolling Eyes At least fuel prices are having a partial effect, most are now used as caravans as they can't justify the 10K+ fuel bills each year. I used about 5 litres over 4 days of sailing averaging 20 nm per day Very Happy They do that per nm (nautical mile) Shocked

Bad customer service and feeling very let down. Plans for the summer all screwed up as a consequence. Not a happy bunny.

Depends on the limit Zag, I swing both ways Whistle Shocked ,
Most large ones will struggle to keep under 6 knots at tick over, I had to drop in and out of gear to keep the speed under 6 !!

Then there's the yachties,, in said speed limit area,, trying to sail up the channel, going one direction one minuet, so you go behind them, then they tack on you, and head right across your path !!

Your 5lt per NM is not far off,, try .77 mpg Very Happy California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Losing my mobile and the crappy battery running out so it won't ring. I think they are actually getting worse.

And that slimy Pangasius stuff. I don't know what it's supposed to be but it isn't fish Evil or Very Mad Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

All the incredible insane acronyms that people use!! Most of them honestly baffle me and normally require a good deal of thought or a google search to understand!

Perhaps it's just cos I'm new to the whole forum thing but it makes reading things way harder!

Attention city people - the countryside is not your personal park. For many it's a working environment and if you are visiting, you need to remember this.
In the last week I've twice been on the receiving end of tourists refusing to wait whilst I maneouvre my tractor through a gateway (fair 'nuff, it's your car vs 0.5ton of metal impliment swinging around on the back Very Happy ) and once I came across some people parked in the gateway I was going to drive into - having a picnic Rolling Eyes

Anyone remember the information films? Laughing
