Does anyone know if this: http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?option=c...;Itemid=14 Will fit on to this: http://www.firstfour.co.uk/item/1886734/de...overy-eyes The same bumper as I have. Reason for asking is there isn't a lot of room to fit full stop. So if anyone has any of these security nuts could I please have the dia / measurements.

Having the holes in I would have thought it was an easy job to chisel them off with a centre punch and hammer ?

Just noticed your link. Trouble is with those is that it would be easier said than done to remove those as some times they do have to come off

Sorry, I haven't helped with your question regarding size ![]() What I meant was that having the holes in the nut (the holes that the 'security key' fits into) made it easy to undo them using a centre punch and hammer |

Thanks Bob, Trouble is with the tool cost on top it's even more expensive. Anything is better than just the hex as it would be off in a matter on minutes if that ![]() |

Hi Steve
![]() Different ![]() Custom made SS, no decat or centre box. Slightly (very) more expensive than off the shelf but I have been told it will sound good, ear defenders on order ![]() EGR removed, all fluids changed, braided brake hoses, damn good service (I was told it was needed !) and front rear pinion leaks done. Rear X member not replaced now as I was told it has quite a few years left in it, just one area needed sorting. Bit of bulkead damage fixed plus a few other small jobs. Should be mechanically sound when it comes back which is exactly what I wanted ![]() Two new doors sat here all sprayed ready to fit when it returns then the fun begins !! Just got to source a new front and rear headling. Fingers crossed I have sourced front and rear brand new take off's, rear is with my source just waiting to see if they can get a front. Lot cheaper than Le Salle. Bob
![]() I was thinking about the EGR on a TD5, instead of removing all the bits, can you disable it by disconnecting the actuator pipes? |
