well... I had

after about 10'000miles my clutch was replaced (together with rear diff). A few weeks later LR acknowledged that the gear box was finished too and replaced it.

So far no specific issues other than some noise when going faster

@BigGeaorge
what was the reason/diagnosis for the faulty gearbox?

My clutch has been replaced twice, both times due to loose pressure plate springs causing a very noisy rattle.

LR seem to be strugglng to sort this one out because my second clutch also rattles although it is a lot quiter than the first two, I'll have it checked out at my 50k(km)service again.

The replacement clutch that does not rattle(rattles less) has transformed the vehicle.

Mine had a terrible rattle which was sorted for a while with the revised clutch and pressure plate.

Noise is back and getting worse.

I think the gearbox or clutch is shot.

I need to take it further because dealer insist they can't hear it. Puma 110 - gone

I do. I towed a 2.6 metric ton load 500km this weekend again. How could this be the problem?

None of you have had the selector replaced i see and this is a common part.

Ive had a new clutch and they broke the selector and the 2 have changed the car (i drove it on the broken one...no big deal change wise)

I also had to have a new selector plate about 6 months ago when there was a rattle but they wouldnt do the clutch - that changed things.

I wonder how many just need this change?

The new modified front prop also helped when the nipples dropped out of the last one. Mike

What test can we do to eliminate the selector being at fault Question Puma 110 - gone
