apart from leaky injector seals which are now sorted mine is pretty much leak free fuel regulator is dripping a tad but not something to worry about just yet

I had a TD5 Discovery. Owned from new for 187,000 miles in 9 years. Mostly road-use with some greenlanes (and a lot of travelling in heavy snow).
I only had 4 leaks. 2 x transfer box output shaft (can't remember whether front or back, I think they both failed once each). 1 x driver's side diff housing (rear) 1 x rear diff input seal Other than that it was dry (well, dry enough not to spot the drive) throughout... In all instances my Indie sorted them for a reasonable price when the vehicle was serviced... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

I hope its not too much to ask for 'a non oil leaking landy' nevermind the leak from the Alpine windows, which likes to drip on my knee, the leaking rear sliding windows. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Had the following leaks:
Tx Box Rear Output seal Rear Diff Input seal.....twice Engine front Camshaft seal Clutch Master Cylinder waiting for a leaky FPR.....and hoping not to get leaky injectors or a leaky head gasket Only Alcohol Can Save me Now Nanocom Available in the North West |

I've had the leaky FPR and leaky cylinder - replaced with a new AMC one. Not a cheap job!

I have and it does need a little bit of extra oil. I check the fluids once a week 1999 Defender TD5 110
