Mine was leak free until the last service. I now have a leak under the main box. Could be from the engine as I've noticed a weep down the side of the rocker cover. Had a good wipe of the tray under the engine as I thought it was just spilt oil from the oil filter change but it's still leaking. Will look at the breather and give the underneath a clean when it go's up on the ramps to try and find it.

Just check the tightness of the oil filter, I had one that wouldn't stay done up and every couple of months or so would loosen off just enough to seep oil past Rolling Eyes When I do lift the bonnet to check the fluids it's become 2nd nature to lean over and check the oil filter.

Checked breather and all is clear.
Cleaned up the cam seal on the front of the engine and sealed with the same stuff they use on Puma sumps. 1999 Defender TD5 110

I think I have found the source of another leak, the oil pipe thats on the underside of the turbo. I found some oil at the flange joint with the turbo. Order new seal for that. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Today replaced the turbo oil return feed pipe gasket. When I say replace, there wants a gasket there in the first place. Fingers crossed thats another leak fixed.
Next I think is the oil filter housing gasket, which I think is leaking and dripping down behind the engine mount 1999 Defender TD5 110
