Yep, done it to my 300tdi. Easy job to do.

I pulled out the dash top ashtray to expose the washer pipe connection with the washer nozzle. Undid the brass nut, pulled the pipe off, inserted a 'T' piece (available from aquatic shops and at BnQ in their hosepipe section).
Then using some similar pipe to existing, I fed a piece into the hole next to the wiper arm from the outside, and fished it through the dash and out of the ashtray hole, and connected to the 'T' piece. Repeated on the other wiper arm.
I tie clipped the pipe along each wiper arm and then connected it to a Peugeot spray arm - about £12 from Peugeot dealer, or cheaper from scrap yard.

The original washer nozzle remains, but unconnected. Though with a suitable '+' piece no doubt you could utilise that too?

Hi Tolley

Has an alterative you can move the existing washer to the left or right (LHD wiper holes) and and a second washer jet.See my picture.

Take the top of the dash off and use a T piece and extra pipe from Halfords to join it all together.

The advantage is two jets of water per side of the windscreen.

Any questions just ask

Good

Hi Steve

Not Zagged

Bucket of water with cleaning gunk / sponge / chammy LOL

Picture was taken last year.

Last time i cleaned it i got three buckets worth of mud of the underside - which has helped build up the vegetable patch ready for planting in the next two months - never one to waste the good stuff

Hi Tolley

The job is not hard - just lots of screws

The pump is fine - i use the car fro green laning and club days and this set up is much better than the one squirt per side original.

Shopping list to start

1 x front washer jet - £3.00 approx from ebay (not rear as this is shorter)
T piece from Halfords
Washer pipe from Halfords - take the washer jet with you as there are two sizes
Good stubby philips screw driver if you dont already have one
Blanking grommet (to fill the original hole once you move the current washer jet) - check the size and search ebay for rubber blanking grommets - from memory Halfords did not have the right size.

Start by removing the two dash ends, then the instrument panel (once this is lose disconnect the multiplug and remove to give you more space)

Remove the top air vent covers, then the screws that are closest to the windscreen (hence stubby screwdriver) then the screws along the front edge. Use sandwich bags / jam jars to seperate the screws with a note to help you replace.

Once dash top off you will see the original set up. Cut the pipe where you can nearest the current washer then remove the holding nut and then pull the washer out from the front.

Remove the two (LHD) wiper blanking grommets and pierce a hole through the centre - push the nose of the jets through it and replace into the new position.

The fiddly bit is to get the lock nut onto the ends here - its a pain - just take you time and introduce you neighbours to some new words, it will make you feel better.

The nut only needs to be finger tight and allow the jet to move to where you want it to be once ready.

Cut two lengths of washer pipes (too long is better than two short) and push onto the ends of the washer jets - put the pipe ends in a mug of boiled water to soften them up and reduce the chance of snapping the end off the jet.

Once done decide where you want to the T piece to go, shorten the pipes join everthing up.

Do test that everthing works and there are no leaks (should not happen) and check that you have not knocked the under dash heating vent - ie put the fan on full blast and check the air pressure - this will save you having to take the dash apart again - wont say how i know Whistle

Once happy refit the dash, instrument panel, dash ends and keep safe any left over screws, they seem to multiply for some reason!

Once done then you can both adjust the washer units and then the jets to suit you.

One of the lads in the club had a similar sent up to Warpig and replaced the wiper arms with those from a Puegot as they have the washer pipes included which look nicer than the comp safari versions with the pipes zip tied to the arms

Anyway - hope this helps and good luck

Mark

Tolley, when you fitted the new washers, did the nut on the back disappear into the bulkhead? On my 2004 TD5 the LHD wiper holes are a sort of rounded oval and the nut fits inside very nicely, but you can't get a socket in there to do them up!

In the end I ran out of time and put it all back together again! Dave
