As fitted to my old disco. Simple rectangle of ali, pair of normal door hinges pop riveted on and a trailer breakaway cable to support it. A rotating tag on one side to hold it upright when not in use. Simple, effective, cheap. I originally used strimmer cord with electrical crimps as supports (as you see the rear one still is but thought they might melt when cooking so added the wire instead!

Just ordinary hinges. The hinges were mounted on an aluminum profile section, this was bolted onto the door - used the holes of spare wheel carrier. I used another part of checker plate on the door card for protection. Cheers, Vincent
