Someone correct me if im wrong - ive not met anyone after the loom change that actually as suffered this again.
Did you clean it all out before fitting the new one. Mike |

Did you replace the seals and in particular, the main one which gives the trouble at the front of the block??

The injector loom was sold as one piece.
Landy nut - What are the seals that you are referring to, have I missed the obvious? |

theres a seal in the block that the wire passes through - some people leave it out on refitting the new loom. Cheers

The loom (AMR6103) comes with the two seals on it.
I expect the problem you have is residual oil in the loom causing poor connection at the ecu end. Take off the red ecu connector & reclean out, I use an aerosol cleaner & then electrical contact cleaner. It may take a few attempts as the residual oil in the loom keeps making it's way to the ecu. I have had to change a few complete engine looms on discovery 2 for the same problem, (although very rare they need it). HTh Regards Steve |
