Blimey, that's a blast from the past! I used to live in Arborfield and drove most of those lanes in my very first Land Rover twenty-odd years ago. Must go for a trundle again some day. Decided to have a tidy up in the engine bay, check fluids etc, and decided to remove the Red Engine Bracket. Just hope I've taken the right thing off, because there were no pipes running anywhere near it

Found that one of my rear springs came unseated while I was at Harbour hill last week.
I found this out after taking a roundabout too fast and unseating even further. So far that it looked like I was emerging from the doors on Stars in your Eyes - plumes of tyre smoke everywhere. Twenty minutes swearing with a jack handle and it was all sorted. Time for some circlips on the top of the spring me thinks. 2002 Defender 110 DC |
