is it generally considered then that 2 x 48 LEDs are too much??

I might need to order a 6 or 16 bulb type for the front then, and stick just 1 x 48 in the rear light holder... Current:D4 HSE

I think it was the dramtic change from what was to the 48 light units. Having given them a few days I've grown a little more accustom to them and there not as harsh.

Does anyone with more technical knowledge than me know if you'd be able to cut down the 48 light units? 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

Ive ordered these.

Looks like a compromise between the 24 ones and the 6 ones. Will see what there like when they arrive.

Pete.

Had mine in for 2 weeks now and once you adjust to the dramatic difference between the original and the replacement, its well worth the £1.50 Thumbs Up

Only thing I'd say is put on your Cool for the first time you light them up Laughing 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

Hmmm.... They're OK, but.......

where the LED matrix is up against the inside of the outer plastic lens of the interior light, I just have a (very bright) square of light beaming through as opposed to a general "glow" that the old festoon bulb used to give.

Might have to have a play on modifying the interior lamp unit to remove all of the old festoon lamp holder gubbins and enable the LED matrix to stick to the inner piece of the light, and thus away from the lens cover.

If I do that, then there'll be plenty of room to fit two of the LED matrices.... uber bright!!! Laughing
