Do you disconnect the wiring to the vacuum solenoid when you blank the EGR off? Does the ECU know and will it run differently when its disconnected?
Its a 2003 EU3 model by the way. |

The wires are to the vacuum solenoids which controls the supply of the vacuum to the actual EGR valve on the inlet manifold.
Sure ive read somewhere to disconnect the wires after removing the EGR, just not sure! lol |

Just replace the egr with a egr kit pipe and blank or join the vacuum pipes at the egr end

Thats the plan but to remove the pipes that arent needed.
Was just told that then ECU will fuel the engine different if the wires are disconnected, just trying to find out if thats true or not and if its for the better or not? |
