I’m interested in doing this to replace my 10 inch screen but getting the place holder images would annoy me. Has this been resolved now? Do I still need to get a used screen to be sure this won’t be an issue or is it ok on the new aliexpress screens.

As for 3 rows on apple play, there was an iOS update other day with a car play update which mentioned 3 rows now. Version 18.4

You don't get the placeholder fault with the Chinese screen and no missing graphics eg the car missing on wade assist.

Thanks for the info on carplay, that would explain it as I just updated my phone to 18.4 Bow down Cheers Ian

So with gap tool I should be ok. What screen did you get and did it come with a bracket. I’ve seen the powerful uk ones

This is the screen that I bought, it comes with everything you need, screen and bracket and then I enabled it with my IID G4 tool

Thanks for the link. Looks to be a 13 inch screen not sure if I want 13 or the 11.
