23 years good going. I suspect that at some point the lubrication situation was not ideal. A grease nipple would be nice, I believe if kept lubricated there is no reason why these hinges can not last 50 years.

This may not be any help, but my standard hinges that are now 23 years old have just started to fail. Up until then they had been faultless, smooth , no rust, and fairly solid.
Strangely all 3 doors started to go within a couple of months.

I’ve just brought the same again, for £170 for 7 hinges , plus 3 cans of paint -primer, colour , lacquer.
They don’t stand out , they’re not blingy, they just keep the doors from falling off.
Perfect.

I had it in mind to buy original hinges, I looked on the jaguarlandrover website, but you buy piece by piece, it's a shame not to have a bundle with all the screws, pins,.... Can I ask you where you bought them?

Others have led the way on this but this example was the easiest to find.

I got mine of eBay.
They came from Bolt on Bits, but there are others, they came with s/s fixings too.
Most of the big suppliers are on there. 2002 td5 90 county hardtop

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of buying some parts on eBay, I'm always scare to grab some Birtpart parts. Keep us posted in the future mate!

If helpful…. I have had my ten year old Puma from new and I have kept the hinges well lubricated all that time. It’s a daily driver with 100k miles on the clock. They are still perfect and without any paint loss. I think I will eventually just replace with OEM. I appreciate others may like the security type but it’s possible to keep the OEM parts working perfectly fine. I personally also prefer the original design. 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

I had to replace a set of hinges on a neglected 2015 last month. I bought three genuine hinges and as one of the hinges was out of stock, bought a Britpart pattern one as a temporary measure. It pains me to say it, but the Britpart one is better made and has less play from new than the three genuine Land Rover hinges.

I also had to deal with what I have been dreading, the seized hinge bolts into the bulkhead, which on a 2015 means having to cut the hinge off then beat the captive nut plate out of its spot welded cage into the bulkhead pillar to enable the fitment of an old fashioned spire nut.

I’ve only used two so far on the drivers door. It wouldn’t shut, so I had to do it.
I’m a fair weather mechanic, so I’m waiting for spring before I do the rest.
The manufacturer was RDX, I’ve no idea who they are.
The hinges are faultless so far , smooth and with no play,
All I’ve done is sprayed a little grease into them. 2002 td5 90 county hardtop
