Power Steering Hose Thread (td5) (om605 conversion)
hello, firstly id like to say thanks for having me...
I've not used a forum for many years, instead I have locked myself away in my barn and been playing with all things landrover .... but the time has come to come back to the social world and chat to some like minded individuals!

I've currently got a few defenders going onto new chassis and looking for some slight advice with a few bits, the main thing problem im having in power steering hoses...
im tring to find info on thread size for the high pressure side of the 4 bolt steering box and also the thread size for the fitting on a td5 power steering pump.
can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I've got 2 conversions on going (whilst moving onto new chassis) one om605 conversion and also an m57 conversion, im fully aware they may not be to everyones taste but wanted to have a play with some different power plants. Many defenders.....
Many series....
Many Range Rovers...
Got a problem....

Measure them?! I’ve tried pirtek and a few other suppliers in the past, but haven’t had much success as they’re not a standard type fitting they said.

M16x1.5 rings a bell.

I had a high pressure hose made for my build. It only required that and a banjo fitting for the Pump on the 1UZ. 4.0 V8 Defender 90
