Well done Paul
![]() Any wind noise from the light bar? When I tried that setup around 60 it’s sounded like someone screaming on the roof lol. Hi mate, Done 200 miles now and most of it in the wet and no leaks, well none I've seen
![]() Got my snagging list down to 40 items, but still can't get my head around the fuel pressure, all works and drives well just cant get any pressure above 40psi, and need 70-72psi, changed the pump and regulator to no avail ????? (it was at 70 psi before Mahker installed the new tank but can't see how this would affect anything???? open to suggestions ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Also got a parasitic drain somewhere I need to find.... Did I say it passed it's MOT first time....Surprised as hell Like some sort of Kid I chose my routes to take in as many tunnels as possible, sounded awesome with both windows down and flooring it in very short burst anyone watching must have thought I was some sort of nutter Anyway as you can see I'm loving it and can't wait until next year to have some fun, perhaps we should get the both of them together some time, that would be great..... |

Thanks for the update Paul, sounds like you are making good progress. I had a fuel pressure issue, too much so I had to change the regulator and it returned to 55 psi which I read was spot on for the LS. Does the LT engine need more? Takes a brave man to push one of these pass 100mph! I have had mine fill the clock, doubt I will do it ever again

I'm slowly getting through my list, but can't solve the fuel issue (all runs fine but still low pressure into the high pressure fuel system of the LT1), I've now replaced every component, does anyone know a fuel systems expert I could speak to as this problem has only come about after having the long range fuel tank installed, which is truly strange. I'm sure is due to more flow with bigger inlet and outlet from the tank but this is well outside my ability, any help appreciated
![]() I need to get this sorted before going on the dyno and tuning down at Wortec... I'm now at about 250 miles which have all been trouble free, Having now driven it in the dark I'm impressed with the light bar it's amazing.... All 3 images look good, but image 3 is very good indeed, almost turning night into day, just what is needed in night time Aussie, with all of the wild life running around, some quite big.
Looking forward to the video, & hearing the exhaust. |

How have the Tractives been? I'm considering them for my Arkonik but the noise is concerning since I've seen that be a reported issue in the GT3 crowd. Would you have gone with OnAir if you did it over again?

RyanH - in all honesty I'd give Tractive a wide birth, not only do you have the noise but they have been difficult to deal with. The UK dealer told me they had no noise issues, and when I got to speak to the techs in Europe they told me there is always noise but at differing frequencies and pitches.
But worse that that it took them an age to even acknowledge there was an issue first blaming my installation, they were adamant that the noise was caused by my car. I had to go to an extreme and deinstall the whole electrics from my car to prove it was not my install, even running separate power supplies Even worse that that, given that it is now clear to everyone there are issues with the kit, they put me to a lot of trouble proving that it was their kit and not my install all of which was unnecessary if they had been honest from the start, and not even an apology. Even if they do sort their kit out not a company I’d deal with again. On the positive side the onair system is great and there support is off the scale, I'd deffo use onair again |
